There is IPARD support for the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants on a land owned or leased. As an individual or legal entity, a project can be prepared and submitted to ARDSI for one or more of the reference plants to be grown. In proportion to the plant that the grower wants to grow, the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment needed in his field may be requested. It can also request a closed machine garage to store machinery-equipment.
For this, being registered in a 3-year Farmer Registration System or having a professional certificate and diploma will increase the score of the project.
There is a condition for the investment to be made in a rural area and there is an upper limit of 500,000 Euros.
If the projects to be done on this subject are approved, a grant of 55-65% is received.
There is also VAT exemption in IPARD projects. VAT exemption is used for the construction to be made and the machinery-equipment to be purchased.
